Omaha, Nebraska, April 2, 2010 -- Omaha Public Schools (OPS), the largest public school district in Nebraska, serving over 48,000 students at more than 80 schools and other facilities, has partnered with PowerDNN to implement a PowerGrid Private Cloud to provide a highly scalable, fault-tolerant hosting platform for all 150+ district DotNetNuke websites with over 1500 Content Editors.  PowerDNN's PowerGrid Private Cloud infrastructure gives Omaha Public Schools the ability to seamlessly expand their DotNetNuke infrastructure to multiple servers and maintain the consistency and integrity of the website data.

Jerry Andersen, a Senior Systems Analyst with Omaha Public Schools said "With over 150 district websites, we knew that we needed a platform that would provide multi-server redundancy and synchronization.  PowerDNN's PowerGrid Private Cloud combined with their PowerCache Synchronization technologies allowed our internal IT team to easily manage our environment and will allow us to continue to scale our internal hosting operation."

PowerGrid Private Clouds allow PowerDNN to provide affordable private cloud based solutions for corporations with large DotNetNuke deployments requiring dynamic scalability to meet intense workloads.  PowerGrid Private Clouds offer an easy to use interface giving customers the ability to manage their own private cloud or let PowerDNN handle the entire process. In the current economic environment, clients are seeking high value and immediate return on any change in technology services.
