ISSUE:
How do I add a portal or subdomain into my control panel to bring it live?

RESOLUTION
Anytime you're adding a portal into DNN, you also need to add it into your control panel for DNS to propagate. Whether it is a subdomain, child portal, or a parent portal, you will add it into your control panel under domain aliases. To find this button, first log into your PowerDNN control panel. You then select:

system tab-->domain.com(this is the primary domain of your DNN installation)-->domain aliases

You will have 3 check boxes, you need only select the "web" box. Once added, please allow up to 1 hour for DNS propagation to take place
