Create an SSL Certificate

RESOLUTION




1)  Log in to GoDaddy and go to your domain management screen

2)  Log in to the certificate management area

4)    Click on your domain

5)  Click either the KEY or REKEY Button

6)  Switch over to the control panel and select your domain.

7)  Click on Certificates

8)  Click Add New Certificate

9)  Fill in as much informatio as possible for the certificate

10)  Copy the CSR to the clipboard

11)  Pasted the CSR into the GoDaddy screen.  Also, select APACHE as your server type.

12)  Click Continue

13)  This time select PLESK as your server and click Continue

14)  Now download the certificate

15)  Open the certificate in WinRar/WinZIP

16)  Extract the certificate to a place you know.

17)  Rename both files to have a .TXT extension.

18)  Open the Intermediate file in nopepad and copy all of its contents into the clipboard..

19)  Paste it into the Certificate area in the control panel.

20)  Now open the certificate in Notepad and copy its contents to the clipboard

21) *Correction: Paste the center section of the bundle in the CA Certificate box and save.

22)  Go back to your main screen

23)  Click on IP Pool
SNAG-0009.png



24)  Clikc on your dedicated IP address

25)  Select the SSL certificate you just created and clikc OK.

ERRATA:

1.  You will need to go to System > [Domain] > Setup.

2.  Check the "SSL Support" option.
3.  Verify that the IP address listed in drop down is the same as the one you set up.
