With the recent releases of different DotNetNuke versions, we have noticed that a large number of sites in the the DotNetNuke community are running older versions of DotNetNuke which may include serious security vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities have been promptly addressed by the DotNetNuke Core team in subsequent releases, but many users are still running out of date versions.
IF YOU ARE RUNNING DotNetNuke 4.9.4 OR BELOW, YOU SHOULD UPGRADE IMMEDIATELY.
To better protect our customers, we have implemented a DotNetNuke upgrade notification service.
This service will inform you of the version of DotNetNuke that you are running to allow you to make an informed decision regarding upgrading your website.

If you are a shared hosting customer and you do not want to receive upgrade and security notifications from PowerDNN, please email Support@PowerDNN.com and ask to Opt-Out of our notification service.
HOW DOES THE UPGRADE NOTIFICATION WORK?
Once per week we scan all of the websites on our shared hosting servers and cross-reference the results with our Security Scanner. Based on the results of the security scanner, we will then send you an email notification detailing potential security issues with your DotNetNuke website. This allows us to quickly and easily notify you of critical information regarding your website.
